Jayco Australian Incentive
In August 2019, Advantage welcomed a group of 80+ Jayco employees from cities across Australia, to begin their 10-day Irish Incentive Trip, visiting Dublin, Galway and Belfast.
This exciting trip began with 3 days in the capital city, including panoramic tours and a visit to the infamous Trinity College Dublin.
The Dublin visit was topped off by a private Gala Dinner in Ireland’s top attraction, the Guinness Storehouse. With the building all to themselves, the group enjoyed a variety of entertainment on the various levels of the storehouse, while navigating their way through the exhibitions. This was topped off with traditional Irish entertainment after dinner, where guests danced the night away!
The next part of the incentive saw the guests headed for Galway where they enjoyed a walking tour of the city, enjoying the culture. Guests enjoyed a traditional Irish dinner in McSwiggans.
It was on to Belfast for the penultimate part of this incentive trip, stopping off first in Sligo and then Derry where the group viewed the historical murals. The group based at The Grand Central Hotel, where they departed on a panoramic tour of the city, then visiting the well-known Giant’s Causeway, a landscape of 40,000 interlocking basalt columns that lies along the north Antrim coast.
On Day 8, the group embodied the lords and ladies of Winterfell Castle at The Game of Thrones Experience. Activities included axe-throwing, a boat trip on the lake, archery and sword-fighting. A medieval lunch was served to guests, who drank from their goblets! A Traditional Irish band finished off the day to keep everyone in high spirits.
To conclude this memorable trip, the group toured the Titanic Museum, before bidding Ireland farewell at the evening’s reception in the Titanic Suite. The group were entertained by a 3-piece band consisting of an electric violinist, harpist and drummer who serenaded the guests with modern and old hits. The band played throughout the night while dinner was enjoyed followed by a DJ to keep guests entertained.
